Send a new batch of postcards every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday!
We are doing this not only to keep ground-breaking gay supercouple Kyle and Oliver on "One Life to Live", but also in support of gay representation in the media in general. We would like ABC Daytime to continue to strive for diversity and equality in their programming.

Action: NOW! Let the Mailing Begin!

Because we just can't wait any longer.

LET THE MAILING BEGIN!

You should send one to each of the four contacts ASAP. We will be conducting these mailings in waves, hitting them all with new postcards every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. No letting up! But more on that later. TODAY:

1. Print your four favorite postcards. Refer to the diagrams at this site to see where you should and should not write on your cards. Not following those instructions could result in your postcard being returned, so please check it out!

2. Write a message to each of these people:

Mr. Brian Scott Frons
President, Daytime
Disney-ABC Television Group
ABC, Inc.
500 S. Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA 91521

Ms. Anne Sweeney
Co-Chairman, Disney Media Networks
President, Disney/ABC Television Group
ABC, Inc.
500 South Buena Vista St.
Burbank, CA 91521

Mr. Frank Valentini
Executive Producer, One Life to Live
ABC Daytime
320 West 66th Street
New York, NY 10023

Mr. Ron Carlivati
Head Writer, One Life to Live
ABC Daytime
320 West 66th Street
New York, NY 10023

Remember:
- Be respectful. We're all upset, but try not to name-call, swear, etc. If there is a chance to save the guys, we don't want to anger the people who have control over that decision.

- End your message with your name, age, and where you live. Especially if you're a woman 18-49, because that's the big soap demo. The "mainstream" demo.

- If you'd like to let them know you're part of the campaign, just write "Don't Put Kish in the Closet" somewhere on your card.

3. Stamp and send! If you feel your postcard is a bit flimsy, just stick it in an envelope with a regular, non-postcard stamp.

Another great way to create and mail your postcards is the USPS-affiliated and super-easy Premium Postcard site. If you try it (and you should!),  please use only these HQ Kish images:

http://www.23hq.com/dontputkishinthecloset
(backup) http://www.23hq.com/smuchshypush

We can't confirm yet that the previously posted cards will print out from this service with the correct quality, so only use the images at the links above, please! You can add any text you want to the front and the back at the PP site.
(UPDATE: The magnificent bittersweetlily found a promo code for 50 FREE POSTCARDS when you create a new account! That's a whole lotta protestin'! When you sign up, just put USPS09 in the promo code box after you enter your address but before you click "sign up". The free cards will automatically be added to your account. THIS IS AMAZING, GUYS. Bombard them!)

Don't like our cards? Make or buy some of your own! Postcards with the name of your city on them are a great way to show the people in charge exactly where their viewers are.

We're going for volume. Send letters, cards, anything you can stick a stamp on. Spread this information around Twitter and Facebook. Recruit your friends and family. Let us know in the comments how much you've managed to send! And check back here for updates and new campaigns.

We can really make a difference here, folks. Our calls and emails so far have already had an effect. Let's show them how we fight!
